FCP Live-In, a full-service home care agency specializing in live-in home care, recently announced the appointment of Susan Sampson, RN, as their director of nursing. This new position is part of the expansion of FCP Live-In on Cape Cod and the Islands.
Sampson, according to a press release, brings years of knowledge, commitment, and compassion to the aging population. She received her nursing degree at Rhode Island College in 1990, and her career spans years of working in the hospital and nursing home setting and home health care. Susan resides in the East Bay area with her husband and their three children.
“Because we are living longer, the aging population is frailer and has more comorbidities,” said David Anthony, FCP Live-In president and CEO. “Susan is joining our team to assist in the creation and oversight of care plans so our clients can remain in their homes longer. Susan’s proactive approach to caring will give families real-time updates on how their loved ones are doing. FCP Live-In uses tools that allow us to track daily how our clients are doing with their caregiver, and this information is then sent to Susan to review,” he added.
