A. FCP Live-In has been helping clients stay in their own home while receiving person-centered care, for over 20 years.
Q. Is FCP Live-In an Assisted Living Facility?
A. No. FCP Live-In is not an Assisted Living Facility. We are an affordable option that allows you or your loved one to stay in your home while receiving all the care needed at a cost that is less than an assisted living facility.
Q. How is FCP Live-In Caregiving different than an assisted living facility?
A. An FCP Live-In client receives one-on-one care at home, unlike an assisted living facility where staff changes three times a day. But best of all, FCP Live-In’s clients enjoy the security and independence of home rather than the unfamiliar environment of assisted living.
Q. Is FCP Live-In a Nursing Home?
A. No. FCP Live-In is not a Nursing Home. We are an affordable option that allows you or your loved one to stay in your home while receiving all the care needed.
Q. Is an FCP Live-In caregiver expensive?

Q. Is there any financial help available for an FCP Live-In Caregiver?
A. There are many financial options like Long-Term Care Insurance, Life Insurance With Long-Term Care Benefits, Annuity With Long-Term Care Benefits, Home Equity Conversion Mortgages, Veterans Aide And Assistance Program, and Life Settlements and you may benefit from one of these programs. Please inquire as these benefits vary on who can receive them. We have people who can assist.
Q. Are there any financial benefits to being a veteran?
A. Yes. The Veterans Aide And Assistance Program for military veterans who served during wartime. These benefits also extend to spouses of veterans. Please inquire as every case is different about who can receive benefits. We have people who can assist.
Q. Who are FCP Live-In Caregivers?
A. All of our FCP Live-In caregivers are either certified nursing assistants, home health aides, or personal care assistants with +2 years of experience. But at FCP Live-In we don’t stop there; all FCP Live-In caregivers go through extensive state and federal background checks, multiple interviews, skills assessments, attend a 2-day orientation, and required training before they are placed in a home and caring for someone. Q. How is an FCP Live-In Caregiver different than someone I hire on my own?
A. FCP Live-In is a full-service agency, and we take care of all the payroll taxes, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and liability insurance so you, the client, don’t have to. With an FCP Live-In caregiver, you avoid the responsibilities of being a caregiver’s employer and are able to pick a meticulously screened caregiver selected from a national pool of highly qualified candidates.
Q. Does FCP Live-In have a program to care for someone with Alzheimer’s or Dementia?
A. At FCP Live-In, we understand dementia-related issues and the best way to deliver person-centered dementia care. That is why all of our caregivers go through the Alzheimer’s Association’s Habilitation Therapy Training Program. This is a nationally recognized, peer-reviewed, evidence-based, and person-centered care approach from the Alzheimer’s Association’s Dementia Care Practice Recommendations. It has been found that this high-quality dementia care training can lead to an improvement in communication between caregivers and individuals living with dementia and a reduction in dementia-related behaviors.
