We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to our clients in a home or residential care setting. The caregiver will be responsible for helping with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
Engage in conversation and provide companionship to prevent feelings of isolation and loneliness.
Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities as needed.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to family members and/or Field Supervisors.
Provide emotional support and create a positive, nurturing environment.
Help with mobility and transferring as required, following proper safety protocols.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in elderly care.
Strong empathy, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus.
Ability to follow care plans and instructions from Field Supervisors.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and their families.
Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and providing mobility support.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in caregiving is desirable.

About the Position:

Live-In Caregivers perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing
Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises
Medication oversight and reminders
Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness
Cooking, meal and snack preparation
Shopping (grocery, household, other),running errands, transport to appointments
Perform homemaking activities including
Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care
Hospice Care
