Here are questions that many clients have when learning about FCP Live-In:

Are the Caregivers employees of the company?

Yes, all Caregivers are employed by FCP Live-In. They are bonded, insured, and covered by our policies for workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and liability coverage. Background checks (both State and National) are done prior to hiring Caregivers.

How do you match the Caregiver with the client?

A Care Coordinator will meet with the family to do an intake on the client and their needs (medical, physical, social). Based on the information received will determine the best caregiver t for the scheduling team.

What happens when a Caregiver has to leave a case?

FCP Live-in has a team of schedulers to coordinate switch-outs for Caregiver breaks and emergencies. We always ensure there is coverage provided.

Does someone manage my parents’ overall care or supervise the Caregiver?

Yes, FCP Live-in has eld supervisors who are assigned to the client at the start of care. They make eld visits within 48 hours of the start and provide complete support to our Caregivers. We also have an emergency triage team available to families 24/7
